“The Government Would Never Do That…”

If you’ve ever tried to express anything that even came close to a “conspiracy theory”, or even a thought “outside of the box” when it comes to government, you’ve no doubt heard someone exclaim “the government would never do that.”

It’s imperative we keep in mind what governments have done in the past.  And to realize, ANYTHING is possible when you consider governments in the past have literally murdered their own citizens and justified doing so.  If a government can go that far, certainly taking away your possessions or giving you an unfair trial is well within reason.
